Is spiritual travel just astral projection or does God use it today? Many Christians today say they are traveling into the heavens, but others are not convinced that "spiritual travel" is used by God. The reason could be that no one has provided convincing evidence showing how it is different from astral projection. If you're uncertain whether spiritual travel is used by God or only by the New Age and the occult, this book will help you uncover the truth. The author compares astral projection and spiritual travel side by side. His research suggests that they are not the same thing. He provides a thorough examination of the scriptures which demonstrate that the prophets and apostles have been traveling in the spirit for centuries. Far from being restricted to the occult, spiritual travel is actually a tool that is intended to be used by God to accomplish His divine purposes. With the same down-to-earth teaching style he used in Seeing in the Spirit Made Simple and Divine Healing Made Simple, Praying Medic provides Bible-based teaching, dozens of testimonies and simple illustrations that will help even the least experienced person understand spiritual travel. Exercises are provided at the end of key chapters to help activate your spirit. Traveling in the Spirit Made Simple can help you in the practice of divine healing, deliverance, intercession and many other forms of ministry. But most importantly, it will help you know God in a more personal way. This book is part of a series The Kingdom of God Made Simple - a self-study course designed to train believers to live the life offered to them as heirs of God's kingdom. Here's a preview of what you'll learn: A comparison of astral projection and Christian spiritual travel Myths and misconceptions about spiritual travel The divine purposes for traveling in the spirit The biblical basis for traveling in the spirit The nature of the spiritual world Traveling in the spirit in dreams Translation by Faith Translocation Trances Time Travel The silver cord The Divine Council Mansions in heaven The nature of portals The Courts of Heaven Heaven's strategy room Confirmation of spiritual travel Speaking with the cloud of witnesses
Is God Really Speaking? Yes-and you can learn to hear Him. Today, many are skeptical that God is speaking or that we can know with certainty we're hearing Him accurately. Hearing God's Voice Made Simple makes the case that God is speaking and that we can learn to hear Him. As you read this book, you may even discover that God has been speaking to you all along but you simply didn't know how to hear Him. With the same straightforward, down-to-earth style used in the best-sellers Divine Healing Made Simple and Seeing in the Spirit Made Simple, Praying Medic teaches about the many ways in which God speaks. You'll find practical exercises at the end of key chapters to help develop your ability to sense what God is saying to you. Whether you're skilled at hearing God's voice, or more of a novice, this book will show you ways of hearing from God that you may not have considered-and you'll also learn what to do with the things God says. This book is part of a series called The Kingdom of God Made Simple- a self-study course designed to train believers to live the life offered to them as heirs of God's kingdom.
In his usual down-to-earth teaching style, Praying Medic clearly explains what the courts of heaven are, why we may want to appear in them and how to present our case. Even the least experienced believer will be able to boldly go before the court of heaven and obtain victory after they read the Bible-based teaching, and testimonies provided in this book.

CFT Made Simple
Author: Russell L Kolts
Publisher: New Harbinger Publications
For the first time ever, CFT Made Simple offers easy-to-apply tools to help clients develop self-compassion, learn mindfulness skills, and balance difficult emotions for greater treatment outcomes. Created by world-renowned psychologist Paul Gilbert, compassion-focused therapy (CFT) is extremely effective in helping clients work through painful feelings of shame and self-criticism. However, the theoretical aspects of this therapy—such as evolutionary psychology, attachment theory, and affective neuroscience—can make CFT difficult to grasp. This book provides everything you need to start implementing CFT in practice, either as a primary therapy modality or as an adjunctive approach to other therapies, such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and more. CFT has unique strengths, and is especially effective in helping clients work through troubling thoughts and behaviors, approach themselves and others with greater compassion and kindness, and feel safer and more confident in their ability to handle life’s challenges and difficulties. This book articulates the theoretical basis of the therapy in simple, easy-to-follow language, and offers practical guidance and strategies on how to tailor your CFT approach to specific client populations. As a clinician interested in the benefits of CFT but wary of the dense theoretical principles that lay behind it, you need a user-friendly guide that will let you hit the ground running. CFT Made Simple is that guide.
If the book \"Translation by Faith\" is the \"how to\" of moving in the spiritual realms, then this book would be the \"why.\" Supernatural Transportation is my personal testimony of the adventures God is taking me on as He teaches me about this reality of moving through space, time and dimension for His purposes and His Kingdom. It is my sincere prayer that as you read this book it inspires you to say \"Yes Lord\" I will do what you ask me to do and go where you tell me to go. I pray that you believe that God is still the God of the Bible and does the same things He has always done, and that you will let Him prove it to you. He will not disappoint you! I do my best to share every part of the journey so that there are no missing pieces. It is my desire to see that all those who are willing, learn how to see and go into the spirit and walk in the will and the power of God. We ALL have an important role in God\'s plan. Embrace who you are and begin to live from that HEAVENLY place!
Our world is broken and cries out for reconciliation. But mere conflict resolution and peacemaking are not enough. What makes real reconciliation possible? How is it that some people are able to forgive the most horrendous of evils? And what role does God play in these stories? Does reconciliation make any sense apart from the biblical story of redemption? Secular models of peacemaking are insufficient. And the church has not always fulfilled its call to be agents of reconciliation in the world. In Reconciling All Things Emmanuel Katongole and Chris Rice, codirectors of the Center for Reconciliation at Duke Divinity School, cast a comprehensive vision for reconciliation that is biblical, transformative, holistic and global. They draw on the resources of the Christian story, including their own individual experiences in Uganda and Mississippi, to bring solid, theological reflection to bear on the work of reconciling individuals, groups and societies. They recover distinctively Christian practices that will help the church be both a sign and an agent of God's reconciling love in the fragmented world of the twenty-first century. This powerful, concise book lays the philosophical foundations for the Resources for Reconciliation, a new series from InterVarsity Press and the Center for Reconciliation at Duke Divinity School which explores what it means to pursue hope in areas of brokenness in theory and practice.

A Wrinkle in Time
Author: Madeleine L'Engle
Publisher: Farrar, Straus and Giroux (BYR)
Madeleine L'Engle's ground-breaking science fiction and fantasy classic, soon to be a major motion picture. It was a dark and stormy night; Meg Murry, her small brother Charles Wallace, and her mother had come down to the kitchen for a midnight snack when they were upset by the arrival of a most disturbing stranger. "Wild nights are my glory," the unearthly stranger told them. "I just got caught in a downdraft and blown off course. Let me sit down for a moment, and then I'll be on my way. Speaking of ways, by the way, there is such a thing as a tesseract." A tesseract (in case the reader doesn't know) is a wrinkle in time. To tell more would rob the reader of the enjoyment of Miss L'Engle's unusual book. A Wrinkle in Time, winner of the Newbery Medal in 1963, is the story of the adventures in space and time of Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O'Keefe (athlete, student, and one of the most popular boys in high school). They are in search of Meg's father, a scientist who disappeared while engaged in secret work for the government on the tesseract problem. A Wrinkle in Time is the winner of the 1963 Newbery Medal. It is the first book in The Time Quintet, which consists of A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters, and An Acceptable Time. A Wrinkle in Time is soon to be a movie from Disney, directed by Ava DuVernay, starring Storm Reid, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling. This title has Common Core connections. The best-selling phenomenon from Japan that shows us a minimalist life is a happy life. Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo—he’s just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn’t absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him. In Goodbye, Things Sasaki modestly shares his personal minimalist experience, offering specific tips on the minimizing process and revealing how the new minimalist movement can not only transform your space but truly enrich your life. The benefits of a minimalist life can be realized by anyone, and Sasaki’s humble vision of true happiness will open your eyes to minimalism’s potential.
Data Modeling Made Simple
Author: Steve Hoberman
Publisher: Technics Publications
Data Modeling Made Simple will provide the business or IT professional with a practical working knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices. This book is written in a conversational style that encourages you to read it from start to finish and master these ten objectives: Know when a data model is needed and which type of data model is most effective for each situation Read a data model of any size and complexity with the same confidence as reading a book Build a fully normalized relational data model, as well as an easily navigatable dimensional model Apply techniques to turn a logical data model into an efficient physical design Leverage several templates to make requirements gathering more efficient and accurate Explain all ten categories of the Data Model Scorecard Learn strategies to improve your working relationships with others Appreciate the impact unstructured data has, and will have, on our data modeling deliverables Learn basic UML concepts Put data modeling in context with XML, metadata, and agile development Book Review by Johnny Gay In this book review, I address each section in the book and provide what I found most valuable as a data modeler. I compare, as I go, how the book's structure eases the new data modeler into the subject much like an instructor might ease a beginning swimmer into the pool. This book begins like a Dan Brown novel. It even starts out with the protagonist, our favorite data modeler, lost on a dark road somewhere in France. In this case, what saves him isn't a cipher, but of all things, something that's very much like a data model in the form of a map! The author deems they are both way-finding tools. The chapters in the book are divided into 5 sections. The chapters in each section end with an exercise and a list of the key points covered to reinforce what you've learned. I find myself comparing the teaching structure of the book to the way most of us learn to swim.
